Ocean Bell

Ocean bell
who can tell
the time of doldrums ringing
when ocean fell
the death knell
for a world of sailing

Ocean bell
hear you
follow you far
when the tide of the waves
is a little ajar

When the wind
falls down
and lies a little dead
you know
there's not a dream of sailing
inside my head

When I'm dead to the world
no breezes hurled
and I freeze upon the sea
it seems I'm still forever
for eternity

When the wind
has fallen
and has not callen back
it stalls from tall
to small
and when the wind
is swollen once again
has swallowed up its pride
I'll be off again

Ocean bell
when you ring
then my sails again will sing
for you
ocean bell
I wait for you
tell
me
when will it be?
